They may be people sitting in the
office next to you. They may be on your team, they may work for you, or you may
even work for them. They are people that may be "mismatched" with
their current company and position. They may feel underutilized, unappreciated,
or feel that their prospects for promotion are limited.
Since they will spend almost half of their life
in their job, it is not surprising that they would want to spend it:
- In an environment that meets their personal
and professional needs.
- Doing the kind of things that feels most
satisfying and rewarding.
- Being compensated fairly for their effort, and
their contributions, and not to mention their education, training, experience,
and skills.
They are people who decided it was time to
start exploring new opportunities.
